Fishers - HSE Youth Football League

BREAKING NEWS

Fishers-HSE Youth Football is excited to announce that we will be implementing USA Football's Rookie Tackle program for our 3rd Grade tackle league this fall. This program provides a transition from flag football to 11 v 11 tackle football and is modeled after the Olympic American Development Model (ADM). ADM is a 5-stage model that focused on universal participation, age appropriate activities, multi-sport participation, positive participation experiences and quality coaching.

Here's what you can expect for your 3rd grade athlete in our rookie tackle program:

 7v7 Tackle Football
Players play all positions
Modified field size
Structured Playbooks allowing coaches to focus on fundamentals

Fishers-HSE Youth Football has always prided itself on being at the forefront regarding player safety, training for our coaches and creating a positive experience for our athletes. Transitioning our 3rd grade tackle league to Rookie Tackle is a natural evolution and ensures that we provide the best experience for our athletes and their parents.

We'll be sharing more information shortly about this exciting change to our program!

Age Group Programs

We offer two age group classifications for flag and four group classifications for tackle that we divide into the following groups: K, 1st grade & 2nd grade for Flag, Rookie Tackle for 3rd grade and 4th grade, 5th grade, 6th grade tackle, and a 5th/6th grade Travel tackle programs.

Our leagues are primarily focused as developmental Recreation (Rec) Leagues in order to offer Football to all participants. We accept players with all levels of skills from beginner to expert at any age level. Evaluations are performed at the beginning of each season to properly gauge a player’s ability and balance our teams for equal levels of skills. Player’s within the Rec Leagues should expect fair and balance playing time with the focus on good competition and skill development.
